Seems like the movie “Escape From L.A.” was simply a glimpse into the future. Maybe we should wall off L.A. now to try and contain this lunacy.

Simple solution to crazy people in government. STOP VOTING FOR THEM !!

To paraphrase a crazy President: "If you like your crazy (Mayor, Assemblyman, Rep, Senator, Judge, Sheriff, etc.), you can keep him/her !"

It's amazing how people in failed, hell-hole cities and states will keep voting for the people whose policies and politics created those hell-holes.

Unfortunately, you can't fix stupid!!

When LA goes dark, John Galt will have won.

All the illegal Mexicans are going to go back home to where there's electricity.

We had a few warm days recently in Ventura so my granddaughter and a friend took off for the beach. They came back with oil all over their shoes and towels. I told them what it was and how it got there and they were like....wow! lol

I keep saying....quit laughing, the Dems are serious about this.

It's easy now to be an environmentally-concerned voter when nobody has to pay for it.

When politicians start putting the cost for environmental activism squarely on their grocery bills, utility bills, and at the gas pumps, it will remain to be seen how popular these initiatives actually are.

AOC is taking over the Democratic Party, everyone else is following her lead, and it is going to be "put up or shut up" time for America.

“The rest of the US will be asked to bail them out when the you know what hits the fan.”

From what I have read, that shouldn’t take too long, there is a whole lot of it on the streets.

Madness. Complete madness.

In the immortal words of Homer Simpson, “In this house we obey the Laws of THERMODYNAMICS!”

http://www.wavsource.com/snds_2018-06-03_5106726768923853/tv/simpsons/homer/laws_of_thermodynamics.wav

I strongly affirm and live by that sentiment.

This mayor is a damn fool if he thinks the laws of Man can override the laws of Thermodynamics. You can’t run our economy on wind and solar.

The net result of this will be power shortages, much pain, and a regression of living standards.

No CO2 allowed? Maybe they should just use CO instead. It would do more good especially inside the Capital building.

Good luck getting more power out of the Western power grid. You’re on your own!

I was joking with the wife this morning about the Green New Deal. I said, if you cut and burn wood, there will be a full-employment Green apparatchik around to make you weigh it and pay a carbon tax before you put it in your stove or fireplace.

These people are insane.

The added benefit to your plan of using CO, instead of CO2, is you would cut down on worthless CO2 emitters ...

Good, I’ve always hated LAX...with the Green new deal, no airplanes in California and LAX can remain a garbage dump/ 3rd world encampment.

I feel that there is about half of Democrat voters that live Republican. Some of those “My Grandaddy...” dumb asses and people who get their news from The Lying, Dying Fake News Liberal Media or listen to nutty friends.

...he’s not stupid enough to be around to deal with the consequences of his actions and ideas.

I was going to say, "Maybe he remembers Gray Davis!" But Davis signed a lot of crap into law on his way out, that has continued to curse the state. I guess in that way, 'progressive' politicians are like STDs...

I think if you had read 1984 and Atlas Shrugged 25 years ago you’d be sitting here now saying “well, those two sure knew what we were in for, didn’t they?”
