I don’t know; I don’t believe she is as popular with normals as the media portrays her. They fawned over her husband as well, and in the end he left office with the whole government in Republican hands.
Michelle and her husband belong with the entertainment crowd; it is the only environment where they aren’t the dumbest people in the room (seriously).

Good. I’ve never even discussed her with anyone. Most of my friends are libs and we tend to avoid discussing politics. I try to point them in the right direction occasionally but people I hang out with are old enough to be pretty set in their ways.
I think I will ask them what they think of her prospects though.

I could be wrong, but Oprah (also mentioned as a potential candidate, though I believe she declined) has a following of white women for her TV show - and white women will talk about her. I’ve never seen the same dynamic with Michelle Obama - and if her college papers are really publicized/scrutinized, she’s done. Unlike Obama’s photo with Farrakhan (buried until he left office), this is already out on the interwebs...

The Pebble Beach golf tournament ran late today as they had weather issues this afternoon. Clint Eastwood did an extended stay in the broadcast booth. It ran to nine o’clock eastern time. Just before signing off Clint said ‘it’s better than watching the Grammies’ LOL!

I, for example, am stunned. Who would have expected her to show up at a celebration of the far left by an organization that has effectively deemed she and her husband the greatest people ever? I mean, why would anyone like MO show up under those circumstances? Absolutely stunning.
