I’m thinking that too. I could think of thousands of dress up ideas that don’t include blackface. But blackface seems to have been the go-to idea there in the past.

I’ve lived in The South all my life, grew up in MISSISSIPPI, and never saw anybody dress up in blackface, for Halloween or otherwise....................
