Chicago Police have been badly bloodied by accusations of racism, some warranted, some not. They will have no hesitation to calling this hoax out for what it is, but only after having plowed the ground repeatedly, and gradually introducing the element of reasonable doubt as details continue to fall apart.

Once the facts are established, I think they will want some skin from this fraud.
