I often have to wonder; do Democrats really believe the bilge that spews from their mouths or do they say these things because it is a strategy for obtaining, furthering and keeping power?

I doubt that I will ever know. It probably depends on the individual. I have to assume that there are true believers in the mix.

As far as I can tell, there is a definite hierarchy among Democrats. Those nearest to the top operate without sentimentality and only give lip service to liberal causes. They are very cool and strategic and have been in politics for decades. Those lower in the hierarchy are true believers.

The system is unfair, illegal and unconstitutional, and so anyone who chooses to lie and take advantage of it is doing absolutely nothing wrong.
