It was a very touchy-feely SOTU... but the fact is... a good chunk of voters vote on their “feelings”. Trump is smart, and may have just secured re-election.

It just happened, we just watched it. They are lying because they know their viewership didn’t see it.

At my job, me and about three guys were talking this morning. Two are die-hard Democrats and one who leans Democrat...all three said it was a good speech and that he said many things they agree with!

Easily one of the best SOTU speeches I’ve watched. Maybe even the best.

The problem with the dem controlled House hasn’t changed though.

This was a great speech. Trump, still, is not a great speaker on a prompter.

As a historian, I think people will down the road liken many of Trump’s speeches to those of Lincoln, whose speeches read much better than they sounded (because of Lincoln’s high screechy voice).

If you read this speech later, I think you’ll be amazed at how uplifting and grand it is.
