This is a silly movement. These weren't women from the accounting department who were forced to put on skimpy outfits and dance for men. They are professional dancers / models who WANT to be cheerleaders and work hard to get there.

But thanks to #metoo young attractive women who want to work as models or cheerleaders are told "no, that demeans you. Now go get a job waiting tables or maybe as a stripper if you still want to dance". I'm sure they're all thrilled that social activists care so much about them that they are willing to crush their dream.

Oh yeah, I’m sure their mamas and papas will give them the alternative of lap-dancing instead of cheerleading.

Not a dream I’d encourage with my kids, now adults, but you are exactly right.
