That’s a good idea. Chelsea needs a bit of experience before she runs for higher office. But it would leave the Clintons with one decision to make. Should Chels announce before or after AOC has an unfortunate “accident”?

The GOP has a problem with party above all, but it is nothing like the DNC.
With loudmouths like AOC and the Sharia supporters, the DNC is being torn apart from the inside and the leaders are losing control.
Pelosi needed to strongarm to become Speaker. Her stand on the wall is to remain Speaker or face a revolt.
Keep an eye on this. It would be great if they destroy each other before 2020.

That would be interesting. AOC has CC beat hands down on charisma, sparkle, and likeability, even if she's an idiot. CC has money, would have backing, and is even more overeducated. She can mouth the policy rationales.
I think the potential embarrassment of losing to AOC on her first political outing would keep Chelsea away from such a showdown.
Why not move a reliable conservative into her district who would run as a Democrat?
I think the Clintons have bigger starting plans for the acclaimed children's book author than lowly House member from the Bronx especially when they can also provide payback in the process.
Recall that after making her bones in the #metoo movement by taking out Stuart Smalley, NY's dimwitted junior senator Kirsten Gillibrand opined that Bildo Klintoon should have resigned because of his involvement with Monica Lewinsky. If you don't recall, we surely know that the Clintons recall it and are just waiting to take care of matters. However, in this case, it will not be the usual Arkanicide, but instead will be a scandal that makes Gillibrand have to resign leaving Clinton butt boy Governor Andrew Cuomo to do their bidding by appointing Chelsea to Gillibrand's coincidentally just re-elected post.
In politics the two can be synonymous.
I look at pictures of her and expect her to morph into a horse at any moment.
As for the story, you can bet your ass that Pelousy is squarely behind this. The dipshit broad is getting way more attention than Pelousy - form the left and the right.
That would be suicidal, as her ramped-up frothing-at-the -mouth radical Antifa base would react with extreme prejudice.

They are upset, because she, like Donald, was an outsider who just decided to run (albeit with help from Bernie) and she was successful... which pisses off the career politicians to no end, because they like to think no one can really do their jobs...and Americans are starting to see that really isn’t true. I don’t agree with her politics... but good for her going out and getting the votes and getting elected.
This has happened much sooner than I thought it would. Now to see if it happens or ends up being a ‘nothing burger.’
