He’s fighting alone because he choose to. He appointed mostly RINOs and neocons to be in his cabinet and top advisors. They of course spent the entire first year of his presidency systematically destroying anyone who wasn’t part of their flock.
Instead of draining the swamp, he tried to negotiate and compromise with it, even while they continued to plot his destruction.
Socialists and globalists are not going to compromise. These people want to “fundamentally change” the country. You are treating these people as if they are rational folks. They aren’t. Both the left and the neocons want to crush this Trump movement. And I’m sorry to say....they are winning.
Trump knew damn well he was never going to get Congress to approve a wall. He sure as hell knew that after two years of dealing with the REPUBLICANS in Congress. My theory is that he orchestrated this whole charade for the sole purpose of bringing Democrats in to share the blame. That's why he was holding those silly staged meetings with Schumer and Pelosi back in December even though neither one of them was in a majority leadership position in Congress.
The President has been dealt with a bad situation and is fighting for America’s survival. If you can’t see what the rats are doing for political points, then I’m sorry for you. Now if you realize what he has done, bring some relief to Americans who need it. The SOTU will go on and the rats will show their ugly faces. Now on 15 Feb when they revert back to no negotiations, he will declare of state of Emergency. What else do you expect him to do???????

BTW, I would far rather have the Army Corps of Engineers build the wall than any contractor. They can hire out any part they want, but they should be in the lead.
