We already knew that Native American activist Nathan Phillips was not a Vietnam veteran as the media had repeatedly misreported. Reporters were under that impression because in multiple interviews Phillips had always strongly implied it without coming right out and saying it. And although the media has misreported his military record for years, he never bothered to correct the record until he was called out on it today.

Chief Spreading Bull demonstrated his bravery by bullying a teen minding his own business.
“I was in a classified unit run by the CIA”
I worked for a mega-corporation in a large complex, very few Veterans???
At a large safety meeting, a friend says, meet Jerry, he was in Vietnam...
When were you there...
Who were you with?
I CAN’T TELL YOU, ITS CLASSIFIED!!!
I said it’s been fifty years?
I wanted to take him out, then and there.
A very good position, been there years, ...Eyes open and mouth shut.
Thousands of workers and I run into this ahole.
Later a friend told me Jerry was a total nutcase.
yes lol
THEY BETTER GO AFTER THAT CREEP!
They don’t have the guts.
They BETTER!
I say, put him on ice!
Damn straight!
Yeah, well I ain’t holding my breath for it to happen. Remember, DOH-J
Some standards were in fact reduced or ignored by recruiters.
Late during the war (67 to 75) and for a lot of years after we wound down in country operations, the queers and cowards figured out how to work the draft numbers system.
A lot of recruiters were willing to take anything that had a pulse and could take a breath of air; not right, but it happened.
This POS was just one of the crapper scrapings that a recruiter needed to make his quota.
97 % of us were there because we felt it was our duty to our country.
Were standards more lax in the 70s? TY

The standards ebb and flow depending on recruitment shortfalls. Recruiters have a lot to do with fudging the records to meet their recruitment quotas. I saw plenty of trash slipping into the Marine Corps during the Nam era because recruiters had trouble meeting their quotas. Some recruits were allowed to join as a way to avoid being prosecuted by civilian authorities. In other words, they were already in trouble when they came into the Corps and only joined to escape civilian trial. This is not to take away or suggest in any way that the vast majority of Marines were true heroes who serve with distinction.

Don’t forget MacNamara’s 100,000.....
I understand it got so bad in USMC boot camp that once they kicked out 15% of a Recruit Company they could kick out no more.
For a while some druggies enlisted thinking they could go to SE Asia and become drug kingpins....
Where there is a will, there better be a body....<: <:
The Marine Corps has Force Recon. The army has Rangers. There are no Rangers in the Marine Corps. This guy couldn't even get his lie straight.
One of the guys in my platoon was given the choice of jail or the Marine Corps after being convicted of DUI vehicular homicide. This was in 1973.
C’mon people. Can’t any of you do a bit if investigating?
When you don’t’, you are part of the problem.
nathan Phillips HAS claimed he’s a Viet Nam vet -
RESEARCH people!
Save this video and share it.

There’s also this - that fills out the whole story

A lot of us are well aware of his deceitful comments and lies. And he did not enlist as Nathan Phillips.
On another thread, a guy who served in the Army said that the Army has Rangers, the Marines do not. I don’t claim to know for sure, but I think that’s another problem with this guy’s claims. This skunk has been getting away with lying for a long time. When his crap started being seen in military and vet circles, all of a sudden people started seeing the lies. He gets away with this crap hanging with idiot liberals that don’t know a latrine from a howitzer but not with current military and vets.
There’s another one about an Eskimo, but I can’t put it on FR..................
This needs to go viral = Posters/bumper stickers
Pres. Trump should feature this and the young man.... He did indeed stand his ground - with no hostility - no 'smirk' no fear.
He difused what was setting up to be a melee - Can anyone track the source?
