Good luck to them. I hope they all get rich and destroy some people and entities in the process.

A Gofundme account to cover lawyer costs would probably grow like gangbusters.

The last thing lib arses want is to be forced to go to Covington Kentucky (Fred Flintstones land) with a lawyer they have to pay thousands. IOW the process is the punishment.

L. Lin Wood is not a man to be messed with.

He grew up tough and he grew up mean.

Life ain't easy for a boy named Sue, or Ellen, or L. Lin.

Covington has retained Barnes.* (1)

Sandmann has hired L. Lin Wood **(2)

Both high powered firms in the civil law area of libel and slander.

I am following this closely because we are about to see a Battle Royal between the MSM, Radical leftist blogs and their usually silent victims.

No silence this time.

This law suit will involve huge damage awards. So much so that it may be the death knell for the New York Slimes, it can put THEM out of business. ( Lin Wood has settled defamation law suit for over 500 million dollars in damages PLUS lawyers fees. The Sandmann case will be much larger.)

*(1)Robert Barnes and the Barnes Law team who represent Covington are not light weights.

The Constitution protects it all, and Robert Barnes protects it for you. In fact, very few (if any) practicing attorneys in America have ever won precedent-setting, high-profile, life-changing cases in First Amendment law in civil cases, tax cases and criminal cases. Robert Barnes has achieved all three.

1. WESLEY SNIPES’ ATTORNEY – THE “UN-WINNABLE” TAX LAW CASE
In United States vs. Wesley Snipes, Robert Barnes’ stunning jury-won, not-guilty felony verdicts for Wesley Snipes led the government, for the first time in 30 years, to stop even using the term “tax protester” as a reason to prosecute people. Yes. We have a right to free speech.

2. RALPH NADER’S ATTORNEY – BALLOT ACCESS SUPREME COURT CASE
In Ralph Nader vs. Brewer, Robert Barnes’ five-year court case went up to the U.S. Supreme Court and had more than a dozen governments trying to overturn the Robert Barnes-led victory. But the case led to a decision that experts in election law and the First Amendment agreed was “groundbreaking” and a “severe blow” to the government’s attempts to prohibit people circulating petitions for the cause and candidate of their choice. The decision also strengthened access to the ballot and First Amendment rights in all election cases.

3. PRISON SUICIDE – ESTATE OF MILLER V. TOBIASZ
In Estate of Miller vs. Tobiasz, Robert Barnes and the Barnes Law team achieved a full victory in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, vindicating the rights of two young brothers. Barnes made the government pay for its indifference to a suicide in their custody of the brothers’ mentally ill older brother, expanding the rights in cases of inmate suicide for all.”

Defamation and libel lawsuits

Wood’s first libel and defamation client was Richard Jewell,[1][2][3][4] the security guard falsely accused in the Centennial Olympic Park bombing in Atlanta in 1996.

Jewell was quickly followed by other high-profile cases, including John and Patsy Ramsey, the parents of JonBenét Ramsey. [11][12][13] Wood was the plaintiff’s lead attorney for John and Patsy Ramsey and their son Burke, prosecuting defamation claims on their behalf against St. Martin’s Press, Time Inc., The Fox News Channel, American Media, Inc., Star, The Globe, Court TV and The New York Post. John and Patsy Ramsey were also sued in two separate defamation lawsuits arising from the publication of their book, The Death of Innocence. The suit was brought by two individuals named in the book as having been investigated by Boulder police as suspects in JonBenét’s murder. The Ramseys were defended in those lawsuits by Lin Wood and three other Atlanta attorneys, James C. Rawls, Eric P. Schroeder, and S. Derek Bauer. The lawsuits against the Ramseys were dismissed. The ruling was partially based on an in-depth decision by U.S. District Court Judge Julie Carnes that “abundant evidence” in the murder case pointed to an intruder having committed the crime.[14]

In November 2006, Wood, on behalf of Rod Westmoreland, a friend of JonBenét Ramsey’s father, filed a defamation suit[15] against Keith Greer, who had posted a message on an Internet forum using the pseudonym “undertheradar”. Greer had accused Westmoreland of participating in the kidnapping and murder.[16] Greer has defended his statement.[17]

Wood went on to represent former U.S. Congressman Gary Condit, and the alleged victim in the Kobe Bryant case.[6] He has also represented fellow attorney Howard K. Stern in defamation lawsuits against John O’Quinn, lawyer for Virgie Arthur, the mother of Anna Nicole Smith and against Rita Cosby, the author of Blonde Ambition, The Untold Story of Anna Nicole Smith.

In November, 2011, Wood was hired by then-presidential candidate Herman Cain, in his efforts to fight off sexual harassment charges.[5][18]

Wood currently represents Burke Ramsey, older brother of murder victim JonBenet Ramsey, in a pair of related lawsuits stemming from the CBS network docuseries “The Case of: JonBenet Ramsey.” They include a $150 Million suit against Dr. Werner Spitz, a Michigan-based forensic pathologist, over his assertion in a promotional CBS Detroit radio interview that Burke killed his sister when a young child. [19] The other suit is a $750 Million suit against CBS and other parties involved in the docuseries, where the same allegations were made.
Other Significant lawsuits

On November 30, 2012, CNN covered the DaVita Inc. Medicare and Medicaid Fraud Lawsuit pending in which Wood is a lead attorney for the plaintiffs.[20] That lawsuit settlement in 2015 was nearly $500 Million plus attorneys fees.[21]
