“Not particularly thrilled with Pence either”

Could someone tell me what Pence has done as VP that would make Conservatives not like him? As far as I can see, he has done everything that Trump has asked for him, defended him publicly, and Trump has had nothing but praise. Is it because Pence had endorsed Cruz during the campaign? Just would like to know.

I said in my post why I don’t like him.

He’s annoying. His manner of speaking is annoying. It’s phony.

Yea, she must be trying to out-do Corey Gardner, a sure loser in 2020.

Jack Ryan’s divorce details (unsealed by an Obama friendly judge) sank his Senate aspirations in Illinois. And that brought the state Sen Obama. And when asked about her claims in those divorce dealings, actress Jeri Ryan said ‘you say a lot of things when you are trying to get custody of your kids’. Sealed divorce records are the specialty of sleazy Dems. And of course, it’s only the records of Republicans on display. Anyone know of any Democrat divorce details in the news?

I don’t see where she says Trump “offered” her the job. She says, she told him she wasn’t interested in being in the running for the job.

God, I hope Trump doesn’t respond to this on Twitter.

From someone who’s been divorced twice I have two comments:

1. Joni’s lawyer did not have to put those statements in their filings and, under normal circumstances, would not have without her approval. Those statements would have cost her my vote were I an Iowan.

2. From Iowa to the glitter of DC? I agree with another Freeper who said he thought she had Potomac fever. Family is far more important long term and she will not find “more” happiness in extended families in her remaining years on this earth.

“I continued to make sacrifices and not soar higher out of concern for Gail and our family,” she added.

They misspelled “addled.”

You think he’s pissed? You should talk to his brothers Leslie and Carroll and his sister Gay!

I got divorced in the sixties in Texas, before no-fault divorce. My wife’s complaint was that I came home from work and sat on her stomach. Heh. I signed the paper.

I don’t know if you’ve ever been to “divorce court” but judges ask all kinds of questions that really are none of their business. They insist they do this in order to “protect” the party born w/o penis.

Pence has never shown me much. I find his affect off putting. I favored Tom Cotton and still hope he gets the nod for SecDef. If nothing else you have to admit that it would be amusing to see pictures of him meeting with the dwarf Pelosi, since he’s 6’5”

I’ve never been to divorce court and don’t see any likelihood of going. However, I hope we will see changes to get away from the tabloid nonsense. One reasonable change would be eliminating these questions when they are not relevant. A second change would be to prosecute for perjury when salacious and false allegations are used to get custody or sympathy alimony. I know far too many men who have been victims of obvious lies - and women who have told obvious lies under oath, either out of anger or to get custody.

Yeah, there is just something about him that doesn’t mesh with me.

I think he’s a phony politician speaking phony political speak. He does not appear to have any innate leadership skills to me, and subsequently likely attended the John F. Kerry School of Phony Ass Leaderspeak.
