I am over simplifying here, but up until the industrial revolution all cultures recognized the immutability of sexuality. The explosion of scientific inquiry and knowledge and material prosperity gave rise to secularism. Man became his own god and all became possible to him. This is all prophesied especially in Daniel and Revelation. Atheistic, man is now eagerly trying to create hell on earth. Witness the article in the Daily Mail which reports on the possibility of a computer chip implanted in the brain that will download your soul, enabling you to “live forever”. Could this be the “sign of the beast? Doubtless there will be many willing to implant that “immortality chip”. Return to scripture, renew our faith, we know how this ends!

So let’s say we’re accepting their new usage of ‘they’ as a singular non-gendered pronoun. So, does this mean, when talking about a specific person, you would say ‘They is an idiot’? Or do you still use ‘they are’ even in the singular usage?
