The USSC is not hearing any new cases until 2/19 or something like that when they anticipate she’ll be back on the bench.
Part of that deal should include the promise from both Houses of Congress to pass a common-sense immigration Bill within a specific period of time, that the President will sign. If they won't agree to that...close the friggin' border, and don't open it up again until they do.

I too keep my powder dry. This problem did not happen over night. It won’t be solved that way either. The shut-down has to end soon though. A lot of people are hurting already. They may be just feral employees but they are really innocent in being caught up in this political morass.
Someone said she was a mafia princess. An Italian friend of mine went through a divorce. I asked him how his wife handled it. He told me there was no possible way he could explain it to me. Lol. So I have no clue.

Apparently, you are not aware that the Democrats have already refused this deal - as President Trump understood beforehand that they would refuse.
This was a PR checkmate of the Dems. In refusing, they now reveal themselves, in front of the entire nation, to be incorrigible obstructive jackasses - and open the door for Trump to take what some would call “draconian” measures.
With the 30-day deadline arriving Monday, Trump will likely now order a Reduction In Force action, and then probably make a National Emergency Declaration soon afterward.

They're stalling for time to announce the beginning of official contemplation of an exploratory committee as a prelude to thinking about impeachment charges.
She'll never see the bench again and they want to use the possibility of impeachment to try to run out the clock on what they hope is Trump's single term.
Still, if Democrats know that Trump will not give up border wall funding, then they can't sustain just saying no. Their only real play is to add something equally distasteful to Republicans to match the wall funding - something they would not otherwise have been able to get by itself.
That's why Trump put DACA and TPS extensions on the table. What he did by offering it himself is to save the Democrats the appearance of caving from offering it themselves. They can agree to it as a Republican offer more easily to their base than if they made it a counter-offer of their own that Trump accepted.
That's the art of the deal, accepting what you know you can't change in exchange for something you want that the other side would not have given.

If DJT says he will achieve his objective one way or the other, I am quite satisfied he will achieve his objective.

She was and is a huge Obama fan.
Was watching here with a few friends. I commented to them that I honestly believe that Pelosi would LOVE to accept the DACA for Wall deal but she simply cannot. The Dems are doing their best to try and cover the major rift between the new socialists, and the “Old Guard”. Right now the young upstarts are garnering all the media love and attention. Pelosi is screwed and she knows it. We have never seen a major break in the democrats in terms of voting, but we would should the POTUS’s plan come to a vote in the house, AND SHE KNOWS IT. The dems either have to find a way to reign in the radicals (don’t see it happening), make POTUS cave (don’t see it happening), or continue to ride out the shutdown and hope for the best- and I believe they are losing ground daily on that.
