Gov. Ron DeSantis did something Friday his predecessor would not: Let former Broward Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes leave office with her dignity intact. DeSantis did away with former Gov. Rick Scott’s suspension of Snipes and accepted her resignation. Snipes welcomed the decision. “I was really concerned about restoring my name and my dignity,” Snipes told the South Florida Sun Sentinel on Friday night. “Now there’s no shadow hanging over the office that I led for 15 years.” DeSantis said it was time to focus on the future. “The important thing is not to throw mud about what happened in the past, but let’s get on a better footing,” DeSantis said in West Palm Beach, where he announced his decision. “Let’s make sure this doesn’t happen again [snip] Snipes is eligible to receive a pension of $71,556 for her time as supervisor, state officials said. That will be in addition to the $58,560 state pension she gets for her time as a school teacher and administrator.

I am a Broward resident. Snipes’ dignity is the least of concerns. She needs to be prosecuted for Election Fraud. Debbie Wasserman Schultz was SELECTED through fraud, again.
For all I care, give her and other flaming Leftists $1 Million each, as long as they agree to LEAVE POLITICS. It would be a great deal for the country.

Well, for 13% of the population, with a few notable outliers, it was inbred and is so pernicious that it is impossible to correct. The most recently one caught is named Tyloneous! He and 41 of his similarly “skin toned” compatriots, have been arrested for bilking a Nonprofit of about a million bucks falsifying time cards.
Any ordinary working person probably wouldn’t get a bonus like that under any condition. I worked longer than her at my job, did nothing illegal & got NO bonus or pension. Giving her this pension is like saying thank you for committing illegal acts. No way should this happen. A jail sentence would be more like it.
The whole point is to discourage anyone from doing it again.
Letting her off with ‘her name and dignity’ intact will not accomplish that.

Gov. DeSantis is moving fast to drain the swamp. Sherriff Israel and now Brenda Snipes. Both need to be investigated and locked up for a long time for the crimes against the state and the country they perpetrated.

Once the CA election laws become national she will seem like a piker. Her petty frauds will seem quaint. The soon to be legal fraud will spell the end of our two party system.
