State of the Union RALLY with nothing but Trump supporters!
Maybe he could do a quick one in front of the House of Representatives and open by saying:
“I’ve been ‘disinvited’ (air quotes) to give the State of the Union in the House chambers this evening by a deeply sad and unhappy woman and her followers that are currently occupying it. So let me tell you about the current state of our great Union and why Nancy Pelosi is so unhappy about it that she’s shut herself up in there and, I dunno, maybe having a good cry. I invite her to the White House, she locks herself up. I hope she’s feeling okay. But anyway...”
I think Nancy is having nightmares about Trump turning around and putting her on the spot right in the middle of the speech...I have dreams of it.
Pence is “president’ of the Senate, hold the State of the Union there, and tell Pelosi to Shove it.
You are so right on with the content! And Trump should flat out, with BIG multi-media production, concisely tie the Russia sabotage investigation, directly to Paid agents from the Kremlin and Britain, in a real Coup conspiracy involving weaponized American Intel, FBI, and Executive agencies, against the will of the American people!!
We also have covered venues which could easily hold crowds of well over 100,000 people!
Or, how about a big time patriotic SOTU Address, given from a large heated stage (covered if necessary), from the Statue of Liberty or Ellis Island (with beautiful lighting), where Trump totally embraces generations of LEGAL immigration, drives home the point of obligation and responsibility to protect the people of the United States, and a giant fireworks display with powerful patriotic music, before and after!
Regardless, as it is absolutely true, the SOTU Address really needs to tie the paid Kremlin agents to the Coup attempt!
Congress just gave the President a huge opportunity!

No, Stempy, the “State of the Union” address is not “off”. You are.
Trump will hold it in the Oval Office, get more public coverage and attention than if he held it in the circus known as Congress.
Plus he’s going to have a lot of fun with the Democrats’ disrespect for “precedence” which they have accused him of doing.
If Trump holds the “State” address in the Oval Office, he will “command” the scenario without any Democrat jackasses picking their noses or asses as signs of disrespect for all America to see.
The “man” owns the Democrats minds. Not only does he live rent free in their heads, he charges them for the prestige of having him live there (not an emolument).
To the Dems, via “Animal House”, “Boy are you stupid!”
Pelosi states that the DHS has not been funded for 26 days, but invited him only 13 days earlier, when at the time, they had not been funded for 13 days.
So why then, did she invite him on January 3rd, if she really had concerns about the Secret Service not being funded at the time?
The first time she was Speaker was when she deposed Hastert and Boehner was the Republican minority leader. Bush was entering his 7th year as President. Pelosi took power at the zenith of Republican weakness/compliance.
This time, the power structure is different; Trump punches back twice as hard, but Pelosi is behaving as if she's still rolling Boehner. Her caucus in the House is younger, "lefter," and generationally more disrespectful of others. Senate Republicans are growing some resolve and lining up behind Trump (for the most part).
Pelosi will learn the hard way that the old way won't work anymore.

Trump should move the SOTU to someplace in the Midwest, and then offer tickets to people who have lost children or family members due to the crimes of illegal immigrants, and only those people.
Could you imagine him in a hall with 20,000 people, and in the middle of the speech the house lights come up. He asks the people in the crowd to hold up their hands if they have lost a child or family member to illegal immigration, and the camera can pan as every hand in the house goes up.
Just do it from the Senate and invite no House members. Done.
The House is under the PEOPLE's control. Trump should just "jump the fence" or "cross the border"...because that's what Democrats seem to love. Hell, make a point of it. Trump could turn it around on them QUICK!

Yes, I learned a little something today. But the SOTU every year before Congress is not mandatory. It’s becoming more like the Oscars, or the Golden Globe, or the People’s Choice awards. Just another venue for self-aggrandizing egoists.

The STOU is announced in one sentence.....” The state of the Union is good” or “in peril” or “bad”
From that point, the President can then go for ward formally announcing to the assembled Congress his plans for moving rorward. He can remind those assembled of events that were negative.
Although addressing the assembled congressional delegations, his address will be seen by all Americans that have an interest. Furter, the address is to those in the world affected by the Presidents programs going forward.
Oh, no! Trump has a tremendous opportunity.
Send the statement over, but hold a speech ceremony with INVITED guests only, namely select GOP congressmen and senators. No, some of the nets won’t cover it, but you can bet it will be covered. This is a great PR opportunity. Don’t blow it.
I wanna see Trump tear ‘em up, but he may go the dignified route. It would be even better if he had to deal with Dem hecklers and rude catcalling like question time in the English parliament. Now, that’s entertaining and Trump thinks so well on his feet it’d be great.
