The most reasonable explanation is that ONLY compromised men get put into those positions to begin with. Dennis Hastert was the most dramatic example, but who knows what the rest of them have hanging over their heads if they step out of line. FYI The Times only managed to survive taking out a $250 million loan from 'Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim' in exchange for what is now a 17% stake in the company, in 2010.....In their 2020 Report, they announced that management would be dedicating an additional $5 million every year to its presidential coverage.
