Proctor & Gamble is urging men to shave their toxic masculinity in a new ad for Gillette razors. The ad shows men fighting, cooking barbecue, and verbally harassing women, interspersed with news reports about the #MeToo movement.

Part of the problem is women who insist on being toxic... yep. Half of the men puzzle is women.
Why not put the sauce on the goose, since PG’s commercials have put it on the gander?
Chlorine is a corrosive poison gas that was once used on battlefields to disable enemy troops. Sodium bursts into flame when it touches water. Both are vile, nasty things when isolated. But combine them, and we get sodium chloride, which is salt, a useful and (except for overconsumption) harmless thing.
Looks like I’ll try that Harrys thing I saw at Target.
“I aver that a little more caring and a little less knee jerking would be helpful here.”
—
You’re welcome to care about a razor company as much as you want, to your heart’s content. Otherwise I don’t know of anybody else who would care if a company feels hurt because it made a wrong decision.
“The whole idea of a toxic masculinity can only jerk the ego chains of men who are lone strangers.”
—
I think you missed the point that pretty much everyone else seems to grasped rather easily. And “toxic masculinity” isn’t that point.
“the devil wanted Adam and Eve, and still wants men and women today, to be estranged and to have unholy desires.”
—
I’m not all that sure that holding a razor company responsible for it’s wrong actions is an “unholy desire”. So far the BBB hasn’t had any incoming fire and brimstone, at least.
Maybe this all was skipped over in the the bible because nobody shaved back then, I can only surmise.
And I’d say that Old Scratch gets way too much “Devil made me do it” credit these days the way it is.
I’m pretty sure nobody has made any contract with His Nibs. Well, maybe Gillette CEOs have signed over their souls, but they more likely just have acted wrongly all on their own without any input from Hades.
I got 24 hours in the FB hole for saying “he” when referring to him.
Then I came across this...

Regulating Target Marketing and Other Race-Based Advertising Practices
I began wondering when this anti-white male marketing will begin to run afoul of the law. It seems that companies like this are straying awfully close to the legal edge.

You know, anton, I’m surprised P&G isn’t targeting the Transgered Men? Realistically, who would be the greater aggressor...the normal heterosexual, or the female who chose to mutilate her body to be able to present an image as a male? I would wager the more aggressive is the woman who chose to present as a male!!
Maybe we can expect them to use Tampax as a vehicle for a video telling women to "plug up their sluttiness".....
Don’t be a toxic social-justice warrior.

:-( Why not? I just have to embrace my inner stupidity. I can do that without even trying.
Again you beg the question. Reductionism is the plague of the age.
Don’t be reductionist.
Reducing consumption of things conserves their supply.
Do it enough and death results, as the supply mechanism is no longer fed with what it needs.
We MUST look for the liberal side of God, or else we just perish.
Do not be reductionist. That is exactly what produced these “toxic femmes” — reduction of the ladies to free self contained agents.
Im think I’m just going to agree you here that a consumer complaint is the Unpardonable Sin.
Don’t be stupid, you who change your angle every five minutes.
“Dont be stupid, you who change your angle every five minutes.”

You’re the fellow who claimed it was Satanic to let a company know what they did wrong. But, now I’m agreeing with you - it’s the very epitome of evil to do so - as I said, the Unpardonable Sin, straight from the bowels of Hade itselfs!!! Old Scratch can’t put nuthin over on us, nossiree!
