Attorney general nominee William Barr will tell the Senate Judiciary Committee at his confirmation hearing Tuesday it is vitally important that special counsel Robert Mueller be allowed to finish his investigation into Russian election interference.
"I will build on the work already done by Special Counsel Mueller and current Department of Justice leadership and ensure the full might of our resources are brought to bear against foreign persons who unlawfully interfere in our elections, Barr is set to tell lawmakers, according to his prepared remarks obtained by the Washington Examiner on Monday.
President Trump nominated Barr in December to replace Jeff Sessions, who was on the job from early 2017 until his forced ouster in November.
I believe it is in the best interest of everyone the president, Congress, and, most importantly, the American people that this matter be resolved by allowing the special counsel to complete his work, Barr will say.

It wont be resolved after Mueller submits his report.
This is fantasy talk from Barr.
Granted he has to say that, but the guy is best friends with Mueller and apparently is friends with Biden too I read today. Why did Trump hire this guy?
I don’t know what else he could say. But the swamp is deep and I think barr is a swamp critter. But that’s just me, I guess.
What Barr means is that it is only important that Mulehead finish
his investigation ONLY on Trump.
Where are the investigations of corrupt FBI and DOJ hacks?
Where is the investigation of Hillary, Fusion GPS, Chis Steele
and the many other hacks?
Another Sessions?
Let him finish his report in prison already! Drain the WashDC swamp!!!
chance. Are going on 30,000,000 dollars of taxpayers money on Democrat propaganda with zero evidence.
Banana Republic Facism in action. The Clinton’s should have to pay the court costs for their coverup expenses, not us.
Christie should have been the 2016 AG Pick
Not that wussy Sessions
>>Banana Republic Fascism in action. The Clintons should have to pay the court costs for their cover-up expenses, not us.

Ain’t that the truth. Since they love Asset Forfeiture, wouldn’t it be a hoot if POTUS applied it here!
Only one rational conclusion to be drawn.
Trump thinks Mueller makes him look like a victim, and that this somehow rebounds to his political benefit in 2020.
I don’t like it, but apparently that’s what Trump thinks.
While I understand why people want Trump to put an end to this charade, I agree with Barr.
Mueller has to be allowed to finish his report. If he doesn't Trump will be tainted by rumors and innuendos.
There's nothing to find. Leave Mueller alone to find nothing. Let Mueller come up empty.
Let the Democrats have their final report from their hero Mueller which will amount to nothing.
At the same time Republicans should launch a REAL investigation into FISA abuse.
In this entire country Trump couldn’t find someone who isn’t a close friend of Mueller for AG? WTH?
If he drops dead would be ok too.
It’s not called the Deep State for nothing.
I would have preferred DiGenova
Didn’t President Trump learn anything from the Jeff Sessions debacle?
Trump really knows how to reward his Enemies. LOSING
The 13-Mule Wagon Hitch can’t finish until the lead Mule investigates the DNC/Hillary/Soetoro/Brennan/5-Eyes/Perkins-Coie/coup d’état/treason aspects of this farce.
It would be nice if the acting attorney general would just release the Specific Instructions given to the special counsel. What I understand, there must be a crime committed to be investigated. As the new attorney general has the authority, he can release the specific language of the appointment or refine it if it was vague
