“The “production” cost i.e. labor is listed at $20.00 phone. So if the PER UNIT Production cost is say doubled then the phone would only cost $20.00 more if made in the USA. Get it?”

You don’t get why they started shipping everything overseas to start with, mostly the cost of regulations.

Many things that are still made here have to be shipped to Mexico to be painted, because the regulations here make it impossible.

Oh my God add 5% for regulations. That is being generous. This why Free Traitors™ are winning and why the USA will de industrialize and eventually be eaten up economically up by Asia. They are using Americans stupidity, greed and lack of economic understanding to kill us. You are prime example, you are all three.

Here in California for example Cal Poly economists did a study on cost of regulation increase per farm acre from 2006 to 2017. It has gone up 800%. This adds significantly to the per acre production cost

It has gone up 800%.

Bone head, your new nickname, if regs go from .3 cents per dollar/ per acre to 2.4 cents per dollar/per acre that is 800% increase. 800% increase by itself means nothing. Did you ever study math? What is 2+3. Do you even know?

Canada actually does have influence over China if only they care to exercise it. They export a huge amount of coal to China and if they embargoed that coal then China’s economy would be hurt severely.

Canada has also routed oil pipelines west after USA environmentalists protested shipments south. China will be the consumer of this oil.

“Cost of living would quadruple.”

So living in slavery to the Communist Chinese is acceptable to you just so long as you can keep buying cheap crap from China?

My, that’s a leap to a conclusion. I was only stating the obvious and by the way I despise that so much everyday stuff is “made in China”.

Sorry, I’m just weary of so many people who decry the Chinese imperialism but then don’t see how they’re financing that same imperialism by buying cheap crap from China.
