President Trump is working around the clock during the government shutdown trying to negotiate with Pelosi and Schumer to secure border wall funding. The Democrats however, are partying at a beach resort in Puerto Rico on day 22 of the government shutdown.
This is the longest government shutdown in US history because Pelosi and Schumer refuse to compromise on a border wall a wall they were in favor of only a few years back. The Democrats dont care about the 800,000 federal workers who are currently not receiving a paycheck.
Democrat Senator Bob Menendez was spotted hanging out with a bikini-clad colleague on the beach in Puerto Rico three weeks into the shutdown without a care in the world.

Will we see the left comedy shows making fun of Hi Bob!? Doubt it... bu(t)t bikini girls...
OUR EYES! Pic of Sen. Bob Menendez on the beach in PR inspires the most hilarious (and troubling) caption contest EVER
Good to know how hard Senate Democrats are working during the partial government shutdown and to help Puerto Rico rebuild
Ok, writing that might have actually caused this editor some serious pain.
The picture of Sen. Bob Menendez on the beach tells us exactly how little they are working while simultaneously damaging this editors eyes for the rest of her life.
Dude needs a t-shirt.
ANY way, the infamous picture has been making the rounds on social media so we werent at all surprised when a caption contest started for said photo; we were however amused and nauseated.
Good times.
Shrinkage.
Was this big party designed to obtain slimy photos which can then be used to control the representatives? It’s sure the perfect opportunity.
The girl looks well over age 14, so I assume this was an innocent conversation. As for the direction he's looking, I suppose he's just too shy to look her in the eyes, so he's looking a little lower.
. It shrinks?

Make no mistake, if 30 Republicans got drunk on the beach with 109 lobbyists in Puerto Rico watching broadway plays during a government shutdown, it would be the number one story in the world and the media would be screaming for resignations
Could it be that the Senator was just asking that chick for directions? Just sayin.
At least this woman with Menendez doesnt look underage.
“My eyes are up here, Senator.”
The People didnt care about the underage girls, they sure wont care about this.
Hoft is such a damn freak show...well meaning but just mostly bullshite
Menendez looks fine for an old man and that woman is fifty something judging by the saggy ass and thighs
Gezzuss people
Who cares if he buys prostitutes if they are legal age
That one should go cheap but somehow Im guessing shes no hooah
Looks like he’s weighing his options.
Oh Puleeeze. The thought of Governor Christie Kreme on a beach wearing a bathing suit? :- )
Wow. She has a real cellulite problem.
Young girl? She looks like a very high mileage used car.
That woman is at least 30 years too old for menendez

Isn’t congress in session? Unless he was in PR during the weekend, and is paying for this out of his own checking account I don’t see anything wrong with it.
Now what I would check is how this vacation was being paid for, who went and did they miss work. As we can see by the picture, this was no junket and if the trip was funded by lobbyists, congress should report it as a gift.
Here are the exceptions to the gift rule. Let’s see how it applies:
The gift is based upon a pre-existing personal or family relationship with the government employee, so long as the gift is motivated by the relationship (like a birthday present to your sister).
The gift is valued at $20 or less, so long as the gift is not cash, and the employee accepts no more than $50 in gifts, in the aggregate, from the same outside source in a calendar year.
The gift consists of modest refreshments, such as juice and bagels at a seminar, and not as part of a meal.
The gift consists of free attendance at widely-attended gatherings (although some agency-by-agency restrictions may apply to this exception).
