I didn’t hear it that way at all. I heard an ineffective speech, a do-nothing speech. It will change nothing, produce nothing. I still think that President Trump is the best President in my long lifetime, and maybe He knows better than I, but I feel that as long as he is APPEALING to the nation and the dimmanazis, he is losing. Unless this part one of a multi-part plan, the wall is becoming a dream, as is 2020. I think that there will be little change in the citizenry, and zero effect (except maybe jubilation) on the dark side.

Facepalm. Remember, Trump is talking to the VAST population of Americans who have NO idea what’s going on. He’s not talking to an audience of FReepers or even DUmmies. He did a fine job laying out the problem to the common man or woman for whom work and family leave little time for politics. This was emphatically NOT the time for him to be harsh or demanding. He made his case well, and got these uninformed Americans thinking. That’s all he needed to do at this point.
