Prayer Warriors have seen this but we need everyone to offer prayers for Richie.
First a little history .... The last week of November, Richie received several vaccines which included the flu vaccine.
On December 2nd, he was hospitalized with paralysis of his arms and legs. He was put on a respirator and the outlook was bleak. I posted a note on FB asking for prayers from family and friends.
Richie is the grandson of a cousin who is more like a little brother than a cousin.
Richie will be 2 on the 19th of July.
He has been hospitalized since early in December. He is paralyzed from the neck down.
He gets breathing treatments and is able to go several hours without the ventilator. Not sure why but sometimes he has trouble and needs to be on it.
Originally they said it was probably the flu shot but they have now changed the diagnosis to a virus that attacked his spinal cord. They have located the area where it was damaged.
I continue to believe in miracles and daily ask God for a miracle for Richie.

I have passed several suggestions and article to the family. His other grandmother is an attorney. I hope she is keeping tabs on this.

I read an article a few days ago about all the cases across the US. It said these conditions are occurring every other year. IE: 2016, 2018.

Yes they are able to hold him. He likes to watch cartoons. Before he got sick he and his Dad watched some cartoons together.
His dad reads to him. I’m not sure if he is still trying to ‘talk’ or not. Also, I need to ask if he is still getting to eat. A couple of weeks ago he really enjoyed some orange juice thru a straw and some yogurt.
They were talking about letting him go home. I hope they are not raising the parent’s hopes again. They want to take him home so he can live in a home environment. Be with the family like any normal kid.
Of course, he will always be special. LOL

Almighty Father God, be with this boy and continue his healing according to Your plan for him and his family, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I am so glad to see they took Richie on an adventure. That had to be good for him.

Water....the water of life....may it flow through him and Jesus we know you want Richie healed and we are still praying for a miracle from you Lord for Richie and his parents.
Richie’s smile, sunglasses and the thought of the fountain sight and sounds melted my heart.
