It is difficult to believe that Americans would treat harshly a man for skirting adoption laws. How does adopting children incite one to accede to blackmail? That makes little sense to me.
I would sooner be convinced of a much darker action or activities that have been kept in the shadows. This criminal adoption business seems as nonsense from here.
Either way, Roberts voted horribly, and he lacks the sort of Honor that I would prefer from any Justice, never mind the Chief.

The whole thing was sick, twisted and perverted.It’s sad the laws of Ireland are what they are. But, to illegally work around them as consciously and in-depth as the Roberts’ did proves they have little regard for law to begin with.
