come and try it, Governor Prickface!
Just TRY it!
ha ha
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may, by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
United States Constitution, Amendment XIV, SECTION 3.
The plan is to take guns from non-violent citizens and leave them in the hands of violent criminals. This is the intention.
imho, it takes a unique type of insanity for a politician to propose any kind of confiscation of any of his citizen’s private property (at least, outside the normal taxation system....)
and that insanity includes a pronounced suicidal tendency when it comes to proposing to steal or confiscate armed citizens’ private property (since the People have their firearms in major part to help them prevent, resist, and/or overturn dictatorial and tyrannical edicts including confiscations of their private property
as our neighbor says with such great clearity, anyone coming for his firearms is gonna get them... ammo first.
Just barely and the trend is gainst the GOP. Trump needs to disperse the Federal workforce or Virginia will soon be lost. State wide offices are already completely Rat.
Eff the gummint on this.
Losing the 2nd Amendment will be the end of the Republic as we know it. The Bill of Rights is no better than toilet paper to the left and pseudo left.
The key word in the governors is reasonable. Its the marker.
Thats how you know theyre undermining the Constitution.
Common sense is another Dem phrase that actually means completely illogical, idiotic, and will reduce your freedom/rights/wallet thickness and in return, you will get less than nothing. You cant even debate it because its common sense.
Racist Wreck-It Ralph at it again.
Without help from SCOTUS, we’re screwed. We need to replace Ginsberg and Roberts.
The key word in the governors is reasonable. Its the marker.
Because if you argue against the “reasonable” you are
unreasonable and thus mentally deficient and shouldn’t
have guns in any event. See how that works?
Great quote from a great book. I recall Ayn Rand’s wonderful ability to see the power of government as a slowly paced march to complete power over all its citizens. The frog in the sauce pan or death by a thousand cuts. Great picture of her, too.
The prime example of “creating a nation of law breakers” is the socialist/communist mayors and governors declaring their cities or states “Sanctuaries” in open defiance of Laws.
Thank you for the reminder.
“...And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they’ll never take our freedom...” -William Wallace
You’re welcome. Atlas Shrugged never fails to deliver on its prescience. I find myself posting that section of AS very often nowadays.
People in VA have voted themselves into calamity.
>We are headed that way in Nevada. I am inclined to becomea felon, go to prison, lose everything. Not giving in to Communists.
Amen Brother. Death to all commies
Damn, did you ever move into the jaws of the Serpent of Hell?
Should have moved north to PA; we’re a friendly, gun-loving folk here.
>Losing the 2nd Amendment will be the end of the Republic as we know it. The Bill of Rights is no better than toilet paper to the left and pseudo left
A recursive argument, the 2nd merely affirms our God given right to protect ourselves against those that would take that very right away. Tyranny and it’s enablers have it coming
Why is it that things are worse now for gun rights than during eight years of Obama?
The House has flipped, badly, but why are so many states going for Red Flag pre-crime confiscations?
OTOH, state level “assault weapons” bans are failing with huge noncompliance rates, and magazine bans as well.
But is some governor now going to go rogue and unleash hordes of police to arrest anybody who might own these things? What if they start offering bounties to snitches?
I live in a gun rights friendly state which is likely to stay that way, but it’s still scary what’s going on.
After signing up many felons to vote. Most probably dont, but I suspect they vote for them. The margins of victory for the dems has increased. We ‘ll see how it goes in Nov. I think we can hold on and this gun issue might help.
