Full headline: Trump likely to face a ‘billionaire boys club’ of Dem candidates in 2020 far-Left progressives will HATE

Democrats who are set to take over control of the House in less than a couple weeks have vowed to launch probe after probe into POTUS Donald Trump’s finances because they are just certain that the billionaire real estate mogul could never have achieved his status in life without lying and cheating.

They will have an equal opportunity to put a slate of Leftist presidential contenders who are also billionaires under the same scrutiny in the coming months — but will they?

As Fox News reports, at least four billionaires — Hedge fund-manager-turned-environmental-activist Tom Steyer (worth $1.6 billion, says Forbes); former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz (worth $3.3 billion); and investor; Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban (worth $3.9 billion); and former New York City Mayor and media mogul Michael Bloomberg (worth $52 billion).

I don’t see where the Dems even have a candidate....Only Biden and Kerry seem the least bit feasible.

I hope all of these guys run & I hope they waste a billion or two of their personal fortunes doing it. At least that way they aren’t funding other subversive leftist groups. Maybe we should encourage Soros to sue against the rule requiring being ‘native born’ to be Pres.

If only Soros had attended Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard then he could run for President.

Cuban is already out. Mark Zuckerberg or Sheryl Sandberg May be in.

Steyer and Schultz are very serious, already looking for Iowa staff. Bloomberg thinks he can win on media alone.

Aren’t leftists supposed to protest against the rich?

The headline and the story are in conflict.

The headline says that leftists will hate these billionaire candidates.

The story says that the Democrats will be offering a variety of leftist billionaire candidates.

I guess it all depends on how you define "leftist."

The Hard Left - the actual socialists and professional protestors - will hate these guys.

The Soft Left - mainstream Democrats - may not.

Now I'm REALLY confused. Didn't Sean Penn meet with both Castro and Chavez? They're kinda rich. Or were. Ya mean mainstream RATS aren't overjoyed?

Some run-of-the-mill Democrat trying to get elected in Nebraska or South Dakota probably wasn't very enthusiastic about Penn and Castro.

It's hard to generalize. The Hollywood left - rich socialists - used to be an outlier in the Democratic Party. Now more and more the rest of the party is looking like them.

When I think of the Hard Left, though, I think of the guy who went off to become a labor organizer when he left college. I can't imagine that guy voting for a billionaire, but stranger things have happened.

But think of it this way: right now, even as we speak, somewhere else on the Internet, somebody is cursing Trumpers, neocons, and RINOs as all being one thing. If there are differences on the right, doesn't it stand to reason that there are differences on the left as well?
