You’re foolish if you think any state can leave the union at this point. Later, perhaps, when the economy has crashed and millions are dead or starving, but not now. The iron hand of FedGov will come down on any state that tries it.

FedGov ain't gonna do squat over secession by any state.

This isn't 1861. Americans no longer have the stomach to kill each other over the purely political question of union. In fact, without the issue of slavery being involved, it's doubtful the American people would have fought the civil war at all.

I agree - there is no right to secession. That question got settled in 1865.
