BTW Putin announced this week, at his yearly pres conference about the US withdrawal, that he had not seen evidence yet of troops leaving Syria. Well, okay. If he says so.

Well of course it's just Putin saying that....leaders tend to say what they want their audience to hear and he's no different than the rest as I see it. Some are just more deceptive than others.
Frankly there's not a lot being ‘said’ in the political climate today that should be taken as is....it's too volatile and too unsettled on the world stage.
