“The judge is on Flynn’s side. Folks just don’t understand the dynamics.”
Suggesting that he[Flynn] committed treason is a strange way to show it.
He was trying to goad Flynn into agreeing to withdraw his plea by suggesting if he doesn’t he could be sent to prison, or worse prosecuted for treason. After he thought about it on the break he realized he went too far and went into court aNd retracted aNd apologized. He was doing anything carrot aNd stick to get Flynn to change his mind. Finally he was able to get Flynn to agree to postpone on the hopes Flynn will eventually change his mind.
Geez people are behind.
The judge recanted, took back the treason talk and said “I feel terrible about that”.
He also said Flynn is innocent!
