I’m thinking about going again. To walk the short distances at the San Jacinto battlefield and realize the enormity of the retributive slaughter of Santa Ana’s enemies is to actually feel the blessing of siezing liberty with your own hands. The victory was achieved so quickly the Mexican officers did not know it was happening
