Nearly 20 years ago, former President George H.W. Bush wanted to sponsor a Filipino boy named Timothy through Colorado Springs-based nonprofit Compassion International but first, he needed a pseudonym.
Hes passed away now, so its probably not a classified name anymore it was George Walker, said Wess Stafford, Compassion president emeritus. Thats the same name that he used, apparently, whenever he checked into a hospital and they needed to have it unknown that he was in there.
Bushs security team was worried about Timothys safety, said Stafford. If word had gotten out that the child was communicating with a former U.S. president, he could have been in danger.
Through Compassion International, a sponsor writes letters to a child in addition to providing financial support. Bushs letters were intentionally vague to mask his identity, and all communication between the two of them went through Stafford, who was then president of Compassion.
The first time he started breaking our little security rules was when he sent a picture of his dog, Millie, and he added, This is Millie. Shes met lots of famous people, Stafford said, laughing. And I thought, OK, thats cute, but boy, thats starting to slip some little secrets in there.
And then years later, he wrote, Were going to have Christmas this year with my son at his house. And then he adds, Oh, and he lives in a big, white house. And Im like, Come on, Mr. President. You are really pushing the envelope here.

That’s nothing. He also sponsored a few million Mexicans.
He certainly avoided sponsoring any Americans. And his reward to Iraq vets was painting ugly pictures of them. Did you see that envelope moment with Jeb, Laura and W at the funeral? Maybe theres some hope for a comeuppance for the Bush Crime Family.
Or it was just the latest letter from the Filipino boy.
A. Timothy, if that is his real name, should continue to keep that link to The White House private for now. Most average people would never believe that he wasn’t a beneficiary in GHWB’s Will. Many would jump to the conclusion that ‘Tim’ must be rich!”
B. Some may even speculate that Tim’s actual father was GHWB.
I don’t believe he was. I think the president just wanted to reach out and do some good. In some ways, Mr. Bush had a charmed life.
Because there aren’t any Americans that need support.
+1

One Good deed in a weary world doesn’t count for crap when you are the driving force for creating a Weary World Order...
Dollars to donuts he fathered the child and adopted him to cover it up.
Don’t care for Bush, but this is nice.
Folks, I disagree with a lot of things he did and stood for.
There’s nothing wrong with this, and it is a pretty amazing story.
He made a difference in this kid’s live.
Meanwhile, he did screw a lot of our kids over.
Yep. And paid for them. He was a globalist snake like his whole family.
Amazing the Bushbots are still buzzing around!
but not too impressed.....plenty of poor and working class people tithe.
I have the very same attitude toward the super rich. One reads occasionally about Bill Gates or Zuckerberg pledging a billion dollars for transgender surgical clinics and things like that.I'm not even minutely impressed by such showboating.
What Gates and Zuckerberg *could* do that would impress me is to *secretly* and *anonymously* give all but $10 million of their net worth to charities that help the hungry of Africa and Asia and,at the same time, pledge to give, each year, all but $750,000 of their annual income to those same charities.
That way they'd still be wealthier than 99.895% of the world's population and a million (or more) poor Africans and Asians would have food, water, health care, etc.
:)
I missed that. What was it?
Except they wouldn't - as you well know. Instead the charity would secretly launder 50% of the money to the Democratic Party and the rest would go to the charity's "expenses" and to buy off a few dictators and several hundred members of their entourages, who would get new villas, new Rolls Royces, new caches of AK-47s, and several thousand bottles of much better Scotch. :)
I am much more impressed by the story of a guy who stopped to help Trump on the New Jersey Turnpike when his limo died. Trump ended up paying off the guy’s mortgage.
Sponsoring a Filipino child with his own money: Wonderful
Sponsoring five million Mexican children with our money: Not Wonderful
Many average people in America help charities support children...and do it for many years and many children. The bushes are extremely wealthy. So...who gives a rat’s a**? More importantly to note that his decisions got many people killed/maimed and his support of the New World Order BS was very, very wrong.
