“Climate change can seem like a distant problem, a speck on the horizon. It’s not. It’s a present and deadly reality.” These words were recently printed by the Huffington Post. “Common sense dictates that the economy undergo a massive restructuring away from fossil fuels to save lives. And a growing body of research shows that the only way to avoid catastrophic levels of climate change is to cease production of vast amounts of “unburnable” carbon.
The only problem with this is that it is based on the assumption that carbon is a warming gas that is heating the planet. Every Democrat would bet their political lives on this. Unfortunately for them, and all the rest of us, is we are living on a cooling world not a warming one. They get it wrong on all points of the compass when it comes to climate change even with CO2 being a warming gas when the truth is that it helps cool the stratosphere by helping reradiate solar energy back into space.
NASA says that CO2 is a coolant not a warming gas. One part of NASA is now in conflict with its climatologists after new NASA measurements prove that carbon dioxide acts as a coolant in Earth’s atmosphere. NASA’s Langley Research Center has collated data proving that “greenhouse gases” actually block up to 95 percent of harmful solar rays from reaching our planet, thus reducing the heating impact of the sun. Carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitric oxide (NO) are two substances playing a key role in the energy balance of air above our planet’s surface tending to cool not heat.

The climate alarmists need to understand that the shielding and blocking effect of greenhouse gases works in both directions: it substantially reduces the flow of energy into the earth's surface from the sun during daytime, and also slows down the release of energy from the earth's surface at night. So the main impact of greenhouse gases is to lower the daytime high temperatures and raise the nighttime lows, thereby moderating the earth's temperature and making our planet much more inhabitable by humans and all forms of life. Also, CO2 is a very ineffective greenhouse gas and even doubling the CO2 level in our atmosphere will not have any significant effect on average temperatures throughout the year. Water vapor is the main greenhouse gas, and greatly reduces the daily temperature range on the earth, while the sun is the main driver of long-term temperature change.

Like I said, fill a transparent balloon with CO2 and you will have result little different than with Oxygen in terms of temperature fluctuations, maybe even sizes. Water is a different thing.
Maybe NASA wants funding to test the theory building huge green houses on the moon with different gases in them to simulate atmosphere....
It is, and thats why the russian woman scientists model works, and its prediction of a grand solar minimum occuring now is the one i am betting is correct.
Well I always thought of it as a coolant since I saw Steve McQueen use it to freeze The BLOB.

The article is from March 2018, cites information going back ten years as if it recent, and it has several dead links. Dead links and misleading citations are not good academic style, which is what this tries to look like.
The claim NASA said CO2 is a cooling gas, was from a 2012 article about CO2 and nitric acid in the upper atmosphere, not the overall effects of CO2 on the climate.
Looking over other articles this looks like a right wing conspiracy/medical quackery site capitalizing on global cooling as its selling point.

I don’t know enough to comment on the claim that CO2 is cooling the atmosphere, but the author gets one fact absolutely correct...
Earth’s highest layer of atmosphere has been “leaking” heat into space at the fastest rate ever recorded.
However, since we only have a couple decades of satellite data on that heat transfer, we really don’t know if the current rate is important or not.
I probably should have taken a longer look at this site before posting this article. This is the first article I’ve ever read from this website tonight. It showed up in a web search. I really like the videos with Dr. Happer and Dr. Soon, and quotes from Dr. Soon. That’s why I posted it.
