Trump has loosened the restrictions on lobbying by former congressmen.

Pelosi said the bill wouldn’t pass the house. She dared Trump to bring it to a vote.
To: E. Pluribus Unum
No, the House cant pass it because the House doesnt want to control illegal immigration, never mind a wall.

That is certainly the theory; however, connected politicians have developed all manner of successful tactics while in office for providing for a secure future.
I was talking about the voter "punishing" the pol who doesn't secure the border by "term limiting" their political career.
Unfortunately the bribery after their career is over has to be dealt with with other means.
It is amusing that Trump's enemies are so concerned he "might" profit off his presidency while they raise not a single brow at the corruption at the Clinton Foundation.
"Pay for Play" never gets a mention on their networks..

A million tons of concrete and steel will endure.
And like Hadrian's Wall and the Great Wall of China, will outlast those who built it yet be a monument to mark their reign.
That's another reason why Schumer and Pelosi want a "fence" and not a WALL

“Because yesterday Pelosi was saying well the House could at least pass it now, and Trump said why waste time to pass in the house if cant get 60 in senate?”
funding and tax bill no longer need 60 votes for cloture in the Senate ... House is a simple majority too, so need for a single Dem vote if the Pubs would all vote for it ...

If the FedGov wont do it then the states should be given the option. Matching funds. Pass it in the state legislature. Match dollar for dollar for fedgov boarder walls.
