Unless you’re in the military stationed away from home or in the hospital you should have to be at the voting precinct in person on the day of the election.

Most people in the Military are registered in their home state and vote in their home state. How do you propose they get there? Ask for a few days off to travel across the country?

If you ant smart enough to mail your ballet in time to be counted.....then you get what you get.....lots of folks are not smart enough to vote in the first place.

I agree, although I wouldn’t exempt those in Hospitals.
