Wouldn't the US Senate have to agree? If the HOR does impeachment, gridlock will follow.

Which would seem foolish politically. At this point, I suspect a vast majority of voters blame Paul Ryan for the HOR not passing anything that benefits us little folk and for being a total hypocrite about a responsible budget. If the Dems squander the opportunity to pass a responsible budget and get too hateful about Trump, they'll alienate their new voters.

Impeachment is an action taken by the House of Representatives and then tried in the US Senate with the Chief Justice (SCOTUS) presiding over the the trial.

The last time this happened was with William Jefferson Xlinton and the Republican controlled Senate decided not to have “real” trial as they didn’t think they could get the votes to convict.

I am not so certain this Republican controlled Senate would make the same decision. In other words my bet is they would allow the trial to happen and a number of them would vote to convict along with the lock step Democrats.

Their voters just want handouts and to be in control. Nothing more. The media will spin everything as the Republican’s fault as they have been doing for decades, even though the complete opposite is true. If the President weren’t who he is, Twitter would have shut down his account a long time ago.

Ryan is a world class POS. McCarthy isn’t going to be any better. They had a chance to put Jordan in and they got scared. Still trying to appease their abusive husbands in the media and Democratic Party.
