"My secretary of state was 'dumb as a rock,' Trump tweets".
President Trump took a break from his Twitter tirade against special counsel Robert Mueller Friday to hurl insults at his former secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, describing him as dumb as a rock and lazy as hell.

I like most of what he's done. His policies are way better than that of the idiot that came before him, but he was one friggin $hit show. Yeah, that's NJ for douche. It'll be the same thing now with Sessions and the litany of Chief of Staffs he's had. Smart people don't continually make bad hires. By the time he gets through his 2nd term, if he does, there won't be anyone left to serve.
*is
He hires only the best r-right?
"Mike Pompeo is doing a great job, I am very proud of him. His predecessor, Rex Tillerson, didnt have the mental capacity needed. He was dumb as a rock and I couldnt get rid of him fast enough. He was lazy as hell. Now it is a whole new ballgame, great spirit at State!"
Stop. All of DC is a swamp. Everyone in it. He has to hire insiders because they know the system.
Of course we’re going to get this crap.
Oh, you want President Trump to be nice and polite like President Bush?
Not me. I say fight hard.
Trump is hard wired to respond aggressively to any negative comment about him whether significant or not. While most of US find it amusing there is a noteworthy percentage, mostly suburban women and independents, that are really put off by this stuff.
Its a little lame to complain that people he hires are lazy and dumb since he was responsible for checking their blackouts before HE hired them. He should forget their shortcomings after they are gone unless they attack him.
Well said Mr President.
Rex was a Cuckold and was hopeless dealing with NK., until Trump had to intervene.
Tillerson is not dumb. He was simply uncomfortable making the needed big changes.
Tillerson is not lazy. He was cautious, as a man in an important position should be.
Backgrounds
It was part of Tillerson’s job to talk Trump out of illegal ideas.
But it was also his job to come up with legal ideas to move America forward.
Or is that he realizes that he has to appease some of those clowns in DC because he knows he can’t bring in complete outsiders. I, for one, thought that Tillerson was one of those outsiders. Turns out he’s an Establishment, Globalist, corporate hack. Nothing more. Look at the guy he wanted for Veterans Affairs. Said he couldn’t just divorce himself from his businesses and probably would have been a nightmare in confirmation hearings. Can you imagine a guy like DJT sitting at a table getting questioned by some of those morons. It’d make for some great tv, but it wouldn’t go well for him.
And, the headline is rather misleading. It would appear that the President would bring something up, be told its not possible or illegal, and then go on to the next thing. I didn’t read where he pushed for something, was told it was illegal and did it anyway. I’m wondering if ExxonMobile ever made a business decision that wasn’t on the Up and Up, and did it anyway hoping they didn’t get caught or knew they could buy their way out of it, if they did.
Tillerson is a nobody now. He was a CEO of one of the biggest companies on the planet. Driven everywhere, doors held open, aides running around doing everything for him. Goes from his CEO office to SecState and an exponential increase in ass-kissing. Now he has to drive himself to Walgreens and get his own medication.
Tillerson WAS NOT a DC insider.
Just so ya know.
That’s kind of what bothers me. I’m as think skinned and direct in your face as they come. If this crap bugs me, I can only imagine how turns off others who may have voted for him.
I want Trump to OWN - HIS mistakes.
Exactly. Until they tick him off or tell him something he doesn’t want to hear.
Tillerson has engineer-itus and was a poor choice for Sec of State.
And Exxon where he was CEO has a strange corporate culture...
Exactly. Geez. It was one of the reasons I like him and Mnuchin so much.
