Not being terribly familiar with the scale and scope of French “riots” how serious is this?
I mean we’ve seen riots over $300 increases in university fees in the past and seemingly other trivial tax issues by American standards.
Is this that much more widespread and serious? I understand it’s linked left and right populist groups in a mutual hatred and that alone seems to make it more dangerous.
Resigning is not the answer. There is no vice-president to step into his shoes.
He needs to reverse course and stop trying to eliminate the use of petroleum products and to turn *slam into a warm, kind religion that is compatible with French values.
I’m surprised France still has a few Patriots still alive.
Macron would rather kill his own people than change his policy.
This is why a EU army is needed...to suppress the little people....
Macron thinks hes Napoleon, but hes just as much of a deadhead as Louis XVI. If he continues with his let them eat cake approach, hes gone. If the French could get rid of De Gaulle (in 1968), Macron is chicken soup.
Consider one of the major causes of the riots...taxes and other cost increases associated with Macrons green agenda. I doubt Macron can survive his presidency and will be forced to resign.
