Fully fund the wall. No fencing, no wire! Build the American great wall!

Seems that little boy Schumer is the one throwing the temper tantrum. His statement that the Repubs control both houses of congress and the presidency and thus can do whatever they want is disengenuous. McConnell should have held a presser and addressed Schumer’s comments saying that 60 votes are needed and Schumer and the Dems are blocking everything. And, that since Schumer is saying they (the Repubs) control everything, that he, McConnell, is getting rid of the 60 vote requirement. Then lets see what lies Schumer would come up with. Dems lack any ethics or honesty.

If the government shuts down the republicans will take the blame. It’s all they know how to do.

One would think that the Dems would see the necessity of building a wall. Immigration is a problem and so is security. They agree with that.

I’m guessing that this is a bunch of kabuki theater to politically cover the butts of Senators whose votes are needed. Quid pro quo payoffs were probably discussed months ago.

They just have to make it look like they were forced.

I’ve heard that politics is a lot like pro wrestling - a bunch of middle-aged white guys pretending to hurt each other.

Absolutely! As Alinsky wrote, one of the ways for the revolutionaries to succeed is to accuse their opponents of doing exactly what thety, the revolutionaries, are doing. It puts the traditionalists on the defensive. F U Schumar is doing just that—along with the rest of the “progressives”. Liberalism leaves a bad taste in our mouths, so they changed their name.

Democrats and Republicans are hardening their positions on President Trump's proposed border wall

Of course, Republicans didn't harden their position on the border wall when they controlled the House and could actually do something about it. Empty rhetoric - Republicans in general are only tough on illegal immigration when they can tell voters they can't do anything about it.

Prez can shut this gooberment down forever and a day for all I care!!!! If we had an honest media, the people would know gooberment employees will get back pay. If the goobs are shut down, better for us, bad for those who planned visits to WDC. Just goes to show, many factors are against planning too early........lol
