Brazil's newly appointed foreign minister, Ernesto Frago Araujo, who starts his new job in January under President Jair Bolsonaro, has stated that the climate change issue was invented by "cultural Marxists" to help push a globalist agenda that is anti-growth and anti-Christian, reported The Guardian and the Daily Mail.
The Bolsonaro administration will take over Brazil's government on January 1, 2019. Bolsonaro selected Araujo to be minister of foreign affairs on Nov. 14. Araujo is a career diplomat who currently heads Brazil's department for U.S. and Canadian affairs. His blog, Metapolitica 17 -- Against Globalism, is here.
In his blog, Araujo has written that climate science is a "dogma," and that it is pushed by "cultural Marxists" who want to undercut Western economic growth and promote a globalist agenda.
Araujo says he wants to use his position to "help Brazil and the world liberate themselves from globalist ideology," which he believes is anti-Christian in nature, reported The Guardian.
This dogma has been used to justify increasing the regulatory power of states over the economy and the power of international institutions on the nation states and their populations, as well as to stifle economic growth in democratic capitalist countries and to promote the growth of China, he wrote in a post last month entitled "Hijack and Pervert."
"An important part of the globalist project is to transfer economic power from the West to the Chinese regime," said Araujo, and "a key part of Trump's project is to disrupt that process, which is already happening."
As for global warming, "the left has sequestered the environmental cause and perverted it to the point of paroxysm over the last 20 years with the ideology of climate change," he wrote. The climate scientists "gathered some data suggesting a correlation of rising temperatures with increasing concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere, but ignored data suggesting the opposite, and created a 'scientific' dogma that no one else can challenge on pain of being excommunicated from good society. This is just the opposite of the scientific spirit."
The incoming foreign minister also criticized Brazil's left-wing Workers' Party for promoting a "socialist ideal" while crushing individualism, freedom of thought, and economic freedom.
It is nothing more than totalitarianism, he wrote, because it "criminalizes everything that is good, spontaneous, natural and pure. Criminalizing the family on charges of patriarchal violence. Criminalizing private property. Criminalizing sex and reproduction, saying that any heterosexual act is rape and every baby is a risk to the planet because it will increase carbon emissions."
Socialism is "criminalizing faith in God," he said. "Criminalizing patriotism. Criminalizing biology by prohibiting the statement that a person is born a man or a woman. Criminalizing competition ("sport is a fascist thing," I once heard a leftist colleague). Criminalizing red meat. Criminalizing air conditioning [for climate science reasons]. Criminalizing beauty. Criminalizing all Western thinkers since Anaximander [d. 536 BC]. Criminalizing history and its heroes. Criminalizing Disney movies. Criminalizing love for children and ancestors. Criminalizing oil or any energy efficient and cheap."
Ernesto Araujo is married and has one daughter. In addition to his diplomatic work, Araujo has written three novels.

Ping.
A significant new leader from SA. His opposition to globalism adds a powerful voice to the war against totalitarianism.
I like this guy already
You mean he thinks like our POTUS?.
More please.
WEll, at least somebody’s got a brain.
He's right.
The only thing that will defeat the left is fear. They must experience fear at some level before they will shut up.
Most regressives will go with who they perceive is the most powerful - most people are sheep. So if they only hear strident noises from the left - that is where they head.
So the right has to get bold, loud and unapologetic. Other regressives might need more persuasion. It is our moral duty to persuade them - at what ever level is necessary.
I like this guy.
But dont forget the Crony Caps who jump on board the gravy train. They are just as bad. Actually, just about every single program run by western deep states in the past 25 years were all Marxist hoaxes. The issue is never the issue.
South America is slowly turning around. Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Chile and Argentina are headed in the right direction.
Daaa... Ya think George? Daaa... George... Whatsa Marxist?
Maybe he’s auditioning for the top job in Brazil. Should we vacation in Ipanema?

Brazil has a new, perhaps wise leader. Man made climate change is a hoax, a total fraud, foisted upon the world by liberals (useful idiots) and socialists who want to control everyone else.
I wonder what the correlation is between the nations that are pushing back on global warming and those nations looking to move their embassies to Jerusalem?
At first glace, those two items seem unrelated, but at their core those nations that have the proper view of Israel likely also oppose Marxist ideology.
Wow, this guy really gets it. Great to see this.
The issue is the revolution.
But wait a second, aren’t all the glaciers melted in Brazil?
Oh yeah right.
That “Getty image” at top of thread is interesting, somebody took a brush to all the permanent ice and snow in the Himalayas, methinks to get you subtly thinking about how this guy is wrong? Or do they have brown snow over there?
