As first reported by Northeast Radio Watch, iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 680 WRKO Boston is rearranging its on-air lineup.
Jeff Kuhner’s “Kuhner Report” will move from its current 12-3pm slot back to morning drive. Kuhner previously hosted mornings at WRKO from 2012 until 2015. Kuhner’s move to early afternoons in 2015 was tied with Rush Limbaugh’s exit from the WRKO lineup.
With Kuhner moving to mornings, Doug ‘VB’ Goudie will slide from co-hosting mornings to “VB In the Middle” in the 12-3pm slot. Goudie was a longtime producer for the Howie Carr Show and commentator for WFXT-TV before joining his former WFXT colleague Kim Carrigan at WRKO in 2016. With the realignment of the WRKO lineup now, Carrigan has exited the station.

The show that was cancelled was a disgrace... nothing but constant Trump-bashing.
Glad to see Kuhner back to mornings, VB needs to go.

Thank God Kim is gone. Flat out could not listen to her. Now they have to get rid of virgin boy the liberal. He’s going to get crushed by Rush.
...and it couldn’t hurt if Jeff pulled back from being so over the top all the time. Everything coming up is the ‘biggest story’ ever and everyone always has to be either completely rotten or completely perfect. There’s a reality in between. And that’s why I think Howie has the best show on radio.
Agreed, and listen all year long in two different states—three different counties.
Kuhner was GREAT where he was, and I listen to Rush on weekends (streaming "Best-of-Rush").
VB MUMBLES along, so I can't follow his thoughts—or don't care to.

Stopped listening to the morning show more than a year ago. 100% thinly veiled attacks on the president from the-fan-of-the-son-of-a-postman and her bitch Vagina Buoy. Would live for VB to be booted for Rush.
I used to listen to Rush and Howie on RKO...now I just listen to Howie.
Howie is awesome. He has the right mix of solid information and smart humor. Probably something to do with why he's been on the air for 25 years!
I really like Jeff, but agree with you. Sometimes he is such a pearl clutcher, and even when a caller straightens him out on something, he won’t change his tune. That really annoys me.
And if that leftist idiot, "Jim" is carted along to VP's slot, I'm done with WRKO from 12-3pm.
I hoped - for MONTHS - that this shake-up would happen, largely because of commie Jim mouthing off every morning, during VB & Kim.
"Jim" had actually made statements, such as "Everybody knows the Republican Party has all the racists." With nary a whimper, NO reaction from VB. (Jim also made ludicrous claims about Trump, which VB chronically let go by - b/c he was apparently too lazy or too ill-informed to bother responding.)
"Jim" literally caused me to change the channel for GOOD, that one morning when he announced Republicans are racists. He may be bright and a nice person, but he belonged no where near that morning slot or a microphone. With time, Jim will hopefully become a little more educated, and actually meet people other than Dems. He's a Trump hater too (goes without saying...), could never make a positive comment about Trump during the two months I tried listening...
Sorry for the long post, but felt pretty strongly about this. I had not listened for over a year. Looks like others felt similarly - hence the lineup shift. So glad Kuhner doesn't have to compete with Rush any longer, his ratings should do even better! Hope VB fails miserably - he's in love with his own voice which comes across blatantly, it's like nails on a chalkboard... and --> he's BOR-ING,

I stopped listening to Rush during GWB when Rush began echoing the GOP Establishment.
A few years ago I discovered Kuhner at noon and, when I do listen at noon, it’s been Kuhner.

Interesting. I moved from Boston years ago and never was a “VB” fan, but I’d have thought as originally a sidekick of Carr’s that he would have been on the Trump train?
(My guess would have been that Carrigan was a Never Trumper, however.)

Boston Globe radio was a total failure. Kim was an annoying moderate-liberal republican. It was like listening to John Kasich every morning. Changed the station, and so did a lot of others.
