[I]n the July 2018 plea agreement, writes Gingrich, the DOJ stated that approximately 40 witnesses were interviewed throughout the duration of the investigation. Upon further examination, this number seems substantially inadequate for an investigation potentially involving so many individuals.
If investigators had simply interviewed all the members of Congress who Imran Awan and his crew worked for they would have had to speak with more than 40 people.
As $120,000 in missing equipment is known to have been illegally written-off in just one members office Imran Awan was involved with (Rep. Yvette Clarke, D-N.Y.), investigators would have also clearly had to speak with a lot of congressional staffers to do a proper investigation.
Gingrich notes that the office that wrote off this $120,000 is a member of the Committee on Ethics. An ethics investigation into Rep. Wasserman Schultz and other Democrats never took place, even though these members of Congress paid these IT aides chief of staff-level pay and, in the case of Wasserman Schultz, even kept paying Imran Awan after he and the others were tossed off the House network.

Time to bust a move on Awan.
Screw Newt!
Where the hell was he fifteen months ago when saying something about this might have meant something?
Newt should just stick to getting RATS elected as he did in the 2009 NY 23 special election.
What a waste of human flesh.
ping!
Just so you know, newt was one of the few that was mentioning this matter. The DOJ did nothing to investigate and then Sessions approved the deal. The Awans and more than 40 Dems walked free and clear. I am just suprised the Awans were not involved with the election fraud. They had the DNC computers linked to the gov’t computers which were also linked to the Clinton foundation. Need I say more.
“....The DOJ did nothing to investigate and then Sessions approved the deal. .”
The Plan! The Plan! Trust the Plan !
I am just suprised the Awans were not involved with the election fraud.
Why on earth would you think they weren't?
I'm more interested in what info, forget about money, but what info went to the PAKs and other scumbag mooslimb entities. Why ain't Newty boy questioning that?
They aren't monolithic, and they come to this rationalization via different pathways. Some of them, like Hillary, are typical narcissistic politicians who will do anything to obtain not just power, but STATURE. Then there are those minorities who believe what the left has been feeding them for decades - that conservatives and Republicans are just racist white guys trying to preserve their power and suppress minorities. Then there are the air-headed ‘intellectuals’, who think Marx was a genius and that if you read the right books, eat the right cheese, drink the right wine, visit Europe, and listen to NPR you are intellectually superior to the rest of the population - and thus justified in doing whatever to push your agenda.
So, criminal activity is not ‘criminal activity’ to them, because they are on a mission, and feel justified and even superior in pursuing this ‘mission’, no matter what the methods used are.
The bottom line here is Republicans have an opportunity to do maximum damage to Democrats and they do nothing.
This has to be one of the most easy cases to investigate and yet NOTHING was ever done.
The evidence is laid out in the press and government documents and yet NOTHING is done.
WHY?
It's like there's a dead body on the floor of Congress and everyone is stepping over it.
Roccus is a bot.

Yvette debarks AF one with Obama.
Yvette Clarke describes herself as a "Queen of the Caribbean;"
She belongs to the Congressional Caribbean Caucus.
Clarke made friends quickly, what with her knowledge of secret offshore banking havens in the Caribbean.
HOW THE IT SCAM WAS RIGGED FOR PROFIT----Democrat NY Cong Yvette Clarke's office approved a $120,000 "write-off" of tax-paid tech Equipment Linked To the Awan clan (made the tax dollars and the equipment disappear). The missing govt-issue tax-paid devices included many iPhones and iPads. At $800 each, Cong Yvette Clarke's $120,000 write-off would force taxpayers to pay for 150 electronic items for her staff of 16......that's about 10 iPhones and iPads each.
Democrat Cong Yvette Clarke's tax-paid payroll records indicate she has 16 employees......why did Cong Clarke need so many electronics for that small staff? She was also oblivious to the fact that all that expensive govt-paid equipment she ordered was delivered to Imran's house.
According to ace reporting by the Daily Caller, Cong Clarke's office casually signed off on what appears to be a theft ring operating inside the Democrat Congressional Caucus then-headed by Cong Becerra. The facts suggest the Awan gang was running the oldest of scams......selling computer gear out the back door after first reporting it stolen to authorities. (hat tip The Daily Caller).
NOTE: Democrat Clarke is only one employer audited, so far. Patterns of theft in other Democrat offices have yet to be investigated.
===============================
EXCERPT....then-Democrat Cong Becerra never publicly acknowledged nor demanded consequences for the cyber breach on his House Democratic Caucus server (similar in nature to the DNC)......and eighteen months later, no one has been charged....not surprising since the elected Democrats dont appear to be asking for it......
This is a huge red flag. This is organized crime on Capitol Hill.
Democrats have apparently taken the "Oath of Omerta."
There is no plan! No one is going to be charged. No Sealed Indictments. Nothing. Awan will probably be the IT guy for the DNC in 2020.
No plsn?? Say it ain’t so!
Cong Becerra sure quite thru all of this
DC is occupied territory. Enemies of our rights and our law, foreign and domestic.
Too late. The RINOS screwed up again. How long has this been going on? At least a year? Now, it’s too late. RATS take the House and this will be buried deep.
Forgot to add: THIS PISSES ME OFF!!
Ain’t got the balls to address me, huh?
It’s people like you that have made me reluctant to join the Republican party for more than 50 years. People like you and Newt!
