No, mowing down unarmed people is murder. It was wrong when our Vietnam vets did it over there; it's wrong when we do it here.

In WW2, we killed hundreds of thousands of "unarmed" civilians in our bombing raids.

Our deterrence against the USSR during the Cold War revolved around our unquestioned willingness to incinerate their civilian population if we were attacked with nukes.

With a mob, their numbers IS the weapon.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of blood-thirsty people on the right who would love to mow down unarmed civilians. Are you any different than Antifa in that regard? If killing people is your suggestion right out of the box, you're probably not thinking hard enough. A number of people on the board have suggested non-lethal solutions to this mess.

It's also unfortunate that we can't have a civil discussion without all the vitriol and harsh sarcasm from the keyboards. I think I understand why it takes JimRob 2+ months to raise funding for this site every quarter. Sane people will look at this thread alone and run for the hills.

Fortunately we don't have to make the difficult border decisions, but it does reveal the hunger in many of you for politicians to do something stupid, and it usually doesn't take much coaxing for our politicians. Pity.
