Migrants in the Central American caravan heading towards the US border are planning to wait until an expected 20,000 migrants arrive in Tijuana and then enter the United States illegally en masse, according to a report.

The group plans to attempt to illegally enter the US through vehicle lanes at San Ysidro, because “it’s more spacious.”

No, mowing down unarmed people is murder. It was wrong when our Vietnam vets did it over there; it's wrong when we do it here.

In WW2, we killed hundreds of thousands of "unarmed" civilians in our bombing raids.

Our deterrence against the USSR during the Cold War revolved around our unquestioned willingness to incinerate their civilian population if we were attacked with nukes.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of blood-thirsty people on the right who would love to mow down unarmed civilians. Are you any different than Antifa in that regard? If killing people is your suggestion right out of the box, you're probably not thinking hard enough. A number of people on the board have suggested non-lethal solutions to this mess.

It's also unfortunate that we can't have a civil discussion without all the vitriol and harsh sarcasm from the keyboards. I think I understand why it takes JimRob 2+ months to raise funding for this site every quarter. Sane people will look at this thread alone and run for the hills.

Fortunately we don't have to make the difficult border decisions, but it does reveal the hunger in many of you for politicians to do something stupid, and it usually doesn't take much coaxing for our politicians. Pity.

How do you know these are unarmed? 180 plus have been arrested just in Tijuanna for crimes .......

Nobody here wants anyone killed.....it’s foolhearted to think that they do...everyone knows there are other avenues to take long before that would need to be done. However if our agents get attacked that equation can and should change fast.

These invaders pissed off nearly all of Tijuana today. Their days may be numbered - especially if they try this stunt again.

Rain forecast for Wednesday through Saturday. Life is about to get even more miserable for these invaders who are living outdoors.

Nope, I'm not confused at all. Even though I'm the minority opinion here, Trump will not fire on unarmed civilians. If he does or allows it, he will be impeached in the House and convicted in the Senate. Even the Senators with a backbone realize that using lethal force on a mostly unarmed group is not a winning issue for Trump and they'll distance themselves from him.

Then, of course, all the online warriors on this forum will say they'll rise up because we have all the weapons blah blah blah. No you won't. Just a lot of saber rattling and hot air. No one wants to be the first to rise up so none of you will. You'll want someone else to go first. I see it in lesser threads all the time. "Why doesn't someone build a better Twitter/Facebook/Google/Etc.?"

Absolutely! Been saying this for years - and you are also right: neither party wants it. You are wrong, however, when you say it will never pass. It has been established law for a long time as far as I know. I wish Trump would enforce it.

Perhaps the GOP has told him they will not fight impeachment of he does enforce E-verify. What a simple non-violent solution E-verify would be!

The problem is that it is voluntary not mandatory. Which means that only the companies that have no intention or need to violate the law are the ones participating in the program.

Its a complete joke and congress designed it that way.
