Poor research and writing. The numbers need to be embellished significantly.

Even at 26k, the number over 32 years would be roughly 812 per year or 68 per month. Those numbers are mathematically insignificant. Based on the total population, the monthly would be 0.000000193452381.

The ‘researcher’ should have used 260k or even 2.6m for the numbers to be ‘frightening enough’.

Geezzzzz!

Many times more than that exit this world with their ‘here, hold my beer’ antics.

If you are going to complain about “heat suicides”, you need to balance it out with heat vs cold deaths over that time span.

Some interesting numbers here - https://inconvenientfacts.xyz/heat-%26-life%2C-cold-%26-death

An excerpt -

A study by the European Union predicts that a future reduction in deaths from cold will significantly outweigh any increase in deaths from heat (Ciscar 2009). By that year, the author predicts, 162,000 additional premature deaths per year from heat will be outweighed by the predicted 256,000 deaths per year from cold that would be prevented (Fig. 6). In Europe alone, the study predicts that close to 100,000 people would be spared an untimely death—thanks to global warming. That being the case, we should all welcome the increasing warmth that will lengthen the global average life span.

Figures here -
