Climate Change May Cause 26,000 More U.S. Suicides by 2050
The Atlantic ^ | July 2018 | Robinson Meyer

Now, scientists have identified one more way that climate shapes suicide—and, worryingly, they have projected that it will only become more pronounced as suicide rates rise in a rapidly warming world.

The finding has anxious implications for a world whose climate is rapidly changing. The authors project that roughly 14,000 people—and as many as 26,000—could die by suicide in the United States by 2050 if humanity does not reduce its emissions of greenhouse-gas pollution.

I am really impressed by the scholarship of Climate Scientists.

According to the Seattle Times...

Besides predicting suicide rates in 2050 and temperatures in 2100, they have also predicted that America’s GDP will fall by 10% at the end of the century because of Global Warming.

No prediction on how much the GDP should be in 2100, but they KNOW it is going to fall by 10%!

Do you still live in Washington state, Baynative?

I posted earlier on a gun issue that might interest you.

"Do you still live in Washington state, Baynative?

One of life's twists took us to Washington State, but we were eager to get out of there from the day we moved in. It was the most uncomfortable social environment and politically oppressive governmental bureaucracy conglomerate I ever imagined. The King county gun warning ordinance is an example of what I am talking about. It is hard to watch what people who are politically aggressive can put over on a population where a lot of people just don't pay attention.

(PS-We currently enjoy life in Idaho where freedom breathes free and every day feels like vacation)

This reminds me of a scene on the life of King Henry 8th in the showtime tv series The Tudors.

Facing massive discontent with his relationship with Ann Boelin, he went into a fit of rage and said "they blame her for the storms and when it don't rain, they blame her for droughts! They blame her if their crops are poor and when women miscarriage!"

So these liberals are doing the very same thing by trying to blame every thing under the sun on Climate Change even when there is hardly a shred of connection between them.
