I don’t care at all if she loses.

I’ve no further use, need or want for these ones.

She’s a Bush League Republican, but we need the seat to offset the other Bush League Republicans, or something like that.......

I don’t know much about her Democrat bonafides, except she used to be one. I also don’t know much about her GOPe/RINO bonafides, except everyone seems to think she is one.

However, it’s readily apparent to even the most casual observer she is no smarter than Maxine Waters and an embarrassment to the Republican party.

Alas, it’s for the people of MS to decide.

Whether she wins or loses, I’ll not mourn either way.

Okay... What is the alternative? Elect a Former Obama Cabinet Member who was charged with accepting bribes? Give me a break! She will support trump who will be doing a Rally for her next Monday. The alternative is to support another Schumer Lacky. So, what are you going to do????? I can't count the number of times I have had to vote for the lesser of two alternatives. Get out there and vote for TRUMP! Vote Republican Mississippi!

She voted for Kavanaugh and supported Collins when she gave her speech in support of him. Espy will not support the President’s judicial nominees.

McDaniel is a loser. We now need all patriots to get behind the R candidate, regardless of their doubts and feelings.

She better be in Oxford at the Egg Bowl tomorrow night. I had never heard this woman speak until after the primary. I Just don’t know what Bryant was thinking with one. He had to remember 2014 and the scars from that. We are voting for her but no excitement

This is silliness. Hyde-Smith voted for Kavanaugh. Espy would not. Ditto that for every other Trump nominee for the next two years. If supreme court justices, federal judges, executive department officials and military leadership appointments are all irrelevant to you, then by all means, stay home, and throw a pointless temper tantrum. If you care about any national issue, then you have one choice.

it will be good to get this election behind us. at least it will shut up the “molest a teenager” voices, and the “legitimate rape” voices.

the irony is that if these people had their way, their would be 0 republicans in the senate -— but then there would be no one left to be irrationally angry at . . . at that is all they do.

Are you kidding? With RBG at deaths door and Sotomyor right behind her we need every republican we can get. She loses and Mitt, Collins and Merkowski own the senate. If you loved Romney, you’ll love him controlling the senate

Look, when McDaniel go screwed, people had a remedy available: to vote for Childers. It is too late now to let a different Dem get in.

How come McDaniel didn’t get appointed in the first place instead of Hyde-Smith? That’s on the Gov in MS isn’t it?

I live in Mississippi. For all of you that say you don’t care if she wins or that she should lose, ask yourself if you’ll feel the same when Mike Espy is voting against Trump’s next supreme court nominee like Doug Jones did with Kavanaugh. All those that couldn’t stomach Roy Moore handed a safe republican senate seat to the democrats on a platter and those same types are hell bent on doing the same in Mississippi. Just how many senate seats are you willing to hand to democrats over pettiness?

Hyde-Smith shouldn’t have been appointed to replace Cochran but she was so she’s what we’ve got to deal with. McDaniel should have beaten Cochran when he ran against him but the GOPe machine pulled out every dirty trick in the book to defeat him, and it worked. He’s so tainted now that he was a distant third in this election. Hyde-Smith is what we’ve got and we’d better back her, stop rolling over and showing the belly every time the democrats come up with the newest manufactured outrage. I swear that if you could find one person besides Trump in the republican party with a backbone it would double the number.

You have had how politics works explained to you over 1000 times. Yet here you are still screaming your infantile political purity dogmas

So either you are the stupidest person on this forum, or you are a Democrat lying about being a conservative

So which are you? Are you just a rabidly ignorant poltical fool or a shamlessly lying fraud?

Here's why.

I'm always glad to get told by someone with God-like understanding.

Somebody said it and that settles it.

We're all just ignorant slugs, we need someone to proclaim "Here's why."

and here is the punch line to all of these purists that blame the rest of the world when their lunatic candidate manages to win the gop nomination, but lose the general:

although they all maintain that the very existence of the republic is in MORTAL DANGER by people who are less pure than they are, the best they can muster against this attack against our country is to . . . post gibberish on an internet message forum.

the sacrifice they are making for our country is deeply moving.

It’s really not about Smith. It’s about protecting us against a Romney-Collins-Myrrhcowski troika sabotaging judicial picks and otherwise gumming up the works.
If Smith wins, that troika would have no power. If Smith loses, they will be constantly screwing us over.
