A Jewish man was attacked Saturday by left-wing protesters in Philadelphia who suspected him of being part of a small far-right rally, according to activists at the scene.
The man, identified only as “Zachary” after asking that his name be withheld, had wandered across a tiny conservative rally of some 30 activists and a counter-protest of several hundred left-wing activists across a police cordon ---SNIP--- The cops basically abandoned me. I’m looking for any car to jump into, and they’re asking, ‘How do we know you’re a Jew?'”

You don't accidentally attack someone. Misidentification, if that's what it was, isn't an accident, it's mistake. Personally, there's nothing I know about Antifa, a Communist organization at it's founding, that would make me think they'd hesitate to attack a Jew. The headline offends me because it implies, to me, if they'd attacked the right people, it would have been fine.

“I saw Jewish man being badgered by an “Occupy” protester a few years ago. Asked, “Are you a good Jew or a bad Jew?””
Unsurprising. I was in NYC during one of the events. The “Occupy” protestors had “Free Palestine” signs.
The doorman of the hotel wisely would not let me go out the front and hustled me to a side door, getting my Uber driver to go around.
