THE primary reason we stopped listening many years ago. That, coupled with the never-ending advertisements and the fact that the overwhelming majority of stories rush pontificates on, we ALREADY READ on Free Republic HOURS if not DAYS AGO!

Who needs rush, when we have FREE REPUBLIC!

You can always tell when it’s a holiday week or he’s itching to fly off for a golf weekend - the not-so-random subjects of iPhones, tech blogs, the NFL and his 20 year old greatest hits (the Newt Congress) invariably come out.

It was good comedy value when he said that he doesn’t want to read certain lefty articles at length in order to avoid giving them publicity - his Paul Harvey-style laborious recitation of lefty articles is (unfortunately) in order to mock them is one of his favorite schticks. He still seems to be under the impression that his audience a) doesn’t have internet service b) hasn’t read all the Drudge Report-linked articles by 12 noon Eastern that he presents during the show.
