I didn't call you a kook, I pointed out that by your own standards you must be one. I did PM you to ask to be taken off the list. BTW, I still have PMs you sent to me so don't be all butt hurt about that.
Point well taken, was speaking in relative terms. Still a more likely model than our civil war. I encourage all to read a little history, even though it is Wikipedia.

I hear Hillary is running again. Just saying..
Article V will never happen because you couldn’t get 2/3rds of these assholes to agree on anything and even if they did agree to a constitutional convention neither side would ever agree to any amendment proposed.
We’re way past civility. Today’s democrats are the communist we fought against in the 50’s and 60’s and today’s republicans are the 60’s democrats.
It’s a lost cause and all hell will needs to break loose, blood in the streets etc and when all that ends badly maybe folks pick up the pieces and start over.
The Constitution is perfect as written.. society is the problem and it needs a massive cleansing.
I will add that NO ONE wanted to put the USSR back together again. Neither the satellite countries nor any world power. BUT, some of the satellite countries did form alliances rather quickly.
Most Americans have the blood of revolutionaries in their veins.
Agreed. We now have big federal government running roughshod over the states because of it.
Perfect post, you wrote what I was thinking, but couldn’t articulate nearly as well
Trump is just postponing it for 8 years. After he’s gone it’s a sure bet.
“Actually they continued, as Britain tried to foothold in the west and even, to some extent, might have crept into the so-called Civil War.”
British shipyards were building massive ironclads for the Confederate Navy; sale was stopped only when Lincoln threatened to declare war on the U.K., which wanted a weakened divided Union.
Excellent article, thanks for the link!
In John Batchelors series of interviews with Dr. Vlahos on this subject of the coming civil war, one interview was about the late 1850s, and how most people could not envision the war that was about to happen and believed that, with some kind of bargaining, it wouldnt. Dr. Vlahos pointed out that Americans already were in the early stages of civil war, but most people refused to acknowledge it.
For more in depth discussions of this, I recommend the podcasts from the John Batchelor Show of the discussions between Vlahos and Batchelor.
Thank you.
These recent elections have laid bare our descent into the Banana Republic of the United Socialist States, formerly known as America.
When people running elections permit such fraud, emailing in ballots, faxing in votes, counting ballots 6 or 8 times, and don’t even have the decency to recognize that this undermining of voter confidence is DESIGNED to remove legal reasons for the country to exist at all, there’s a heap of heLL coming this way.
A coming civil war? We’re in one right now. 700 +/- incidents against Trump supporters go unanswered and some screaming a$$ gets to hound a duly elected President. A tech mogul thinks he’s cute to blur out the Presidential Seal.
Yeah. “They better worry.”
I absolutely think civil unrest, at the least, is going to happen. I haven’t said otherwise.
I agree. Trump has been a welcome speed bump but only delaying the inevitable. After he is out of office it will be back to business as usual for the evil bastards.
