The problem with McSally is she’s just a Good Girl.
No real fight in her. She does what she’s told, and gets biscuits for doing tricks: like getting to drive around the Hog with the TF-34’s.
Occasionally she uses Wimmen’s Lib themes to get stuff like the gig she did in Saudi Arabia, but those are Establishment Approved non-conformances.
She ain’t a snotty devious little street fighter like Sinema (she’s sooooo Sin-ful, it’s even in her name...).
So when the Pima county fake American Recorder got a bag of provo ballots from her hijas in Baja Tucson (um, south of 29th st), Sally from the Foothills didn’t know what to do - she just politely curtsied and said “I surrender”.
Nothin’ in the book about how to fight that. Send in DIS? USAF JAG? The Keystone Kops? She wouldn’t know. It’s completely outside her experience.
So exit stage left while the gang bangers run circles around her.
And Sinema spending twice what she had didn’t help (now I’m being charitable).
But how does Ducey win by his margin and she loses?

Back in the 70's when I lived in Tucson, Mo Udall was our rep. I despised him. In one election a former Vietnam POW ran against Udall. The Republican party would not support that guy and Udall only beat him by 10000 or so votes.

My parents are democrats to the end. They watch MSNBC and CNN all
hours of the day and of course they despise trump. About a year ago
my dad and I had it out over his insane trump hatred. I asked him what
kind of country he wants to leave his grand kids. He had nothing to say
other than I can’t believe my son supports that buffoon. I had to throw in
your beloved daughter and son in law also support that buffoon.
They love my daughter and my sisters son. I can’t believe they would
vote democrat knowing that what they leave will directly hurt their
beloved grandchildren.
Stunning that a state like Arizona could elect her, but the choices were horrible. The weak, McCainish alternative would have been more Democrat than Republican. They will get what they deserve.

He hates POTUS and when I ask if he would have preferred the alternative, no answer.
When I point out facts such was the case regarding Kyrsten Sinema, he told me I need to think twice about what is truth and what are lies. And just today, I noticed The AZ Rag had an article about our “first” bi-sexual senator. He didn’t believe me when I told him what she was. They get the paper so I am certain they will have seen the headline.
My parents are registered Independents.
Your parents sound like my mother.
She voted for Trump and spouts conservative views but she faithfully watches the ABC Evening “News” every evening. She takes everything they say as gospel and no one can convince her otherwise.
We have had more than one argument when I point out the lies and leftist propaganda that comes from their nightly telecasts but she will hear none of it. My blood pressure automatically rises when they come on.
Unfortunately, she is an extremely stubborn person who thinks she is always right and one can’t tell her anything.
For family get-togethers, my dad will bring up politics but my mom tells him that they agreed they would not bring it up but he does anyway.
They know I will speak up, one sibling refuses although she sides with me and the other doesn’t want to harm the relationship she has with my parents.
Of course, my parents think I am off my rocker when I speak up but I am quick to let it go.
She is UNTOUCHABLE because her religion practices taqiyy’a, or lying to infidels in order to promote Islam.
Sorry, New York has the most dysfunctional GOP state and county parties in the universe.
